High School Old Boys' Rugby Club celebrates an incredible milestone — our 125th anniversary (or for the Latin lovers, our quasquicentennial).
The celebrations are locked in for the weekend of May 8–10, 2026 and planning is well underway to honour the rich history of our great club.

Golf Day
Meet, Greet & BBQ
Join us at Russley Golf Club (428 Memorial Ave) for a relaxed and social day on the course. Meet at 11:30am, before a 12:00pm tee off.
The game will be played in Ambrose format, with teams of four - perfect for all skill levels and a great way to enjoy a bit of friendly competition.
For $49 per person, your entry includes an 18-hole round of golf plus a platter to enjoy after the match. Beers will be available to purchase on the day (please note this is not a BYO event).
The 125 Clubrooms Social
5:00pm to 10:00pm
Meet at the HSOB Clubrooms ‘The Igloo’, located at 12 Riccarton Avenue, up the driveway behind Hagley Tennis.
This is the first event, where you’ll have heaps of time to chat, catch up with old friends, enjoy a bevy or two and chomp on some good old fashioned rugby club grub.
This is a free event to attend, but be aware that the club rooms have limitations for numbers so if you want to be there, don't be the last one arriving.
Cash bar and the BBQ will be sizzling.
